A dream come true although definitely a hard day’s night working at the absolutely iconic Abbey Road Studio 2, with the London Hospices Choir, recording their charity single, The Living Years, alongside original singer Paul Carrack.

The choir were great, led by their esteemed Choir Master, James Hawkins, and worked really hard to get a fantastic sounding song, that would go on to hit the Christmas number one spot, for physical sales sold.

This place really has so much history, it’s hard not to walk away from it buzzing. One of the things that made us realise just what a legendary studios it is, is that, not only did the Beatles make it famous, but that so many classic film scores were recorded here, too, next door in the larger Studio One. The classic Bond theme was recorded here, as was the music for Star Wars, among many, many others. Wow!

We even had a sneaky little tinkle on the Beatles’ piano!
